A Little About Loblolly

I am an elementary school teacher and my husband, Carl, is principal of a junior high school. Carl loves spending time with the terriers, if it were up to him they would all be in the bed and on the couch.  He especially likes spending time playing with the puppies, but still finds time to snuggle with the older terriers.  He is a tremendous help when it comes to doing the “dog chores”.   When we are not with the terriers we are in the boat bass fishing.  We both love to fish and can stay on the lake all day long, even when the fish are not biting!

Our kennel has been very successful in producing quality terriers.  I owe a great part of my success to David and Susan Jones of Wales and Barrie and Chris Wade of England.  They were gracious enough to open their hearts and homes to me when I first started breeding terriers.  It was through these wonderful people that I was able to visit their country and see many of the terriers in the United Kingdom that still have a major impact on the bloodlines you find in most of our terrier’s pedigree today.  I cannot thank them enough for the many hours spent going over pedigrees and pictures into the early hours of the morning, not to mention the great times we had hunting, going to the shows, and visiting different terriermen in their country.
